Happiness in a bottle

Ah, yes. The little pink pill.

Generally speaking, I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to take anything except for my daily multi-vitamin. However, over the past year, I have come to appreciate a little thing called the pain killer. Now, I am by no means addicted. In fact, I only take it if I am absolutely curled up in the fetal position in pain. But let me tell you - I love my little pink pills. Took one last night and it drifted me over to la la land for a good 8-hours.

Still hurting pretty badly this morning, but it doesn't have the bite it did yesterday. How sad is it when you consider it a good day when the stabbing knives in your abdomen is a little less intense? Well, that's my life and I can't let it stop my world from turning. Today is a new day, and one that, I hope, will be filled with sunshine.

hope you are feeling better.
what kind of pill is the pink little pill? I only ask because I have been feeling like I'm dying due to abdominal pain since sat. I should call the doctor but have no time. Oh well.

nothing like a little remedy in the form of a pill to help you sleep 8hrs comfortably!

Ahhhhh....Isn't Vicodin wonderful? But be careful, it can make your constipated too besides addicted.

No, no I'm not on vicodin and I'm not addicted to pain killers.

After my surgery, I was given Darvocet for recovery. At one of my recent doctor visits, they asked if ANYTHING helped the pain. I said yes, darvocet. So, they gave me another prescription. I ONLY use it if I'm borderline "I should start thinking about going to the ER" mode.

No worries!

The absence of pain is wonderful! My brother has gone through 3 nerve blog procedures recently for nerve pain in his arm from a really horrific work accident a few years ago. They've really helped him and they are not as scary as you think (according to him).

Good luck.
